princess elisabeth turned 8 today...

i can't believe she's getting so big! we took her to chuck e. cheese's and stayed for quite awhile. we're redoing her room for her b'day present, and i'm taking her to see "stars on ice" on saturday. she's excited!

i'm beat today, so this is short!

can you see the little face in the last picture? it's a side profile and so sweet!

elisabeth begged to come with me, so i gave in and let her. she was absolutely mesmerized! she had such a great time seeing the baby. at one point the tech held the wand completely still and you could see sparky moving around all over the place, even though i can't feel a thing yet! elisabeth said "the baby must need to use the restroom, it's doing the same wiggle dance i do when i need to go!" too funny!

my busy schedule...

is really getting to me. i'm so tired when i wake up in the morning (pregnancy fatigue is just great!), i just want to sleep all day...but since i'm a working mama, i have no choice but to get my booty up and moving and ready for the day. (jammies all day long is always nice...can't wait for presidents' day!!!) my house is a mess, dirty dishes are piled up in the sink, trash is overflowing, laundry is overtaking my house (both clean and dirty)...i just don't have time to stay on top of it all. jerry's just as busy as i am, so it's not like he's sitting around doing nothing or something either. as much as i like going to bible study groups, i'm glad this series is over (as of last night) so i can have one more free evening to work around. soccer, thank goodness, will be over very soon too. then i'll have more time to focus on the house, my studies, my kids, and my hubby.

so here i sit, dreading to go to work, but needing to get up and get going... lol

on another note, i took nick to the ENT yesterday. he's pretty sure sinus issues are not causing his headaches, so we'll have to see what the opthamologist says on friday. hopefully we'll have a "reason" after that visit. i hate not knowing "why" he's having such horrific headaches, it's hard to watch him in such misery too. poor kid's missed more than half of the days so far this quarter, it's not a good thing where schoolwork is concerned, that's for sure! so keep us in your prayers, hoping we find an answer so they can stop and he can get on with his life...

i'm a mom to a teenager?!? yikes!!!

i can hardly believe it's been 13 years since nick was born! it's absolutely amazing how fast time flies and how quickly they grow up. he had a fairly decent day, skipped school (for a neuro appointment), had his favorite BBQ and some Baskin Robins', and had no headache at all today. He also was able to get the external memory drive for his XBox, so all-in-all it was a good day. he's also out with his dad seeing a late movie, so i'm sure they're having a blast with no girls around!

in other news, the neuro is referring him to see an opthamologist to rule out or confirm whether he might need a spinal tap. she thinks it's very possible that there's extra fluid putting pressure on his brain/head when he lies down at night, but we have to wait until next week to find anything out. also, it looks as if he's going to see an ENT because he may have polyps or cysts in his sinuses. we're praying nothing is serious, but hoping maybe these might be the answers to the reason he's been having headaches for so long. (i'd rather have answers that can be fixed, though scary they might be, over having no answers and just trying this and that indefinitely)

school's going well, and baby's giving me morning sickness so that seems to be all well right now too.

i think i'm in the market for a bigger plate...

well, i finally did it...

i am officially a business owner and have started my online marketing business. i'm so excited about where this is going to go, it's amazing the possibilities that are out there. the vitamins and supplements are amazing, and i'm excited about starting up some of the weightloss classes soon. one of my friends came up to me yesterday at work and was asking when i'm starting them, so we'll be getting everything together to get it started in a couple of weeks! another really cool thing about our business is that it has a web portal that offers free email services, news and weather streams, and links to partnering companies like Target, Best Buy, and tons of other places that people normally shop online. the best part about it is, sometimes you get better deals through our portal than you would going directly to the company's site, so if you're shopping online, check out our link and shop through our webmall!

in other news...work, school, family, business and the baby are kicking my butt! i need to get some rest somewhere and it hasn't happened at all this week. i think once we get through the busy weekend, it'll all be good....but i tell myself that every week i think!

soccer games start in an hour, so i'd better get the troops going...
