Unsure......

I'm not really sure what exactly God thinks He's doing here! I get to where I "think" I know and then we proceed in that direction, then a couple of other scenarios come up. This one scenario keeps coming up (and has over the past couple of years, really) and though it's the scariest one, it's also the most exciting one. I guess we'll just see how it pans out and see what God really wants us to do. I am excited about the possibilities and can't wait to see God working. It should be an interesting ride, to say the least anyway!

I know I'm being vague, but I don't want to be premature in "saying" anything too soon either! If this is the way we're headed though, it fulfills the "desires" that I have and keeps the situation in a place "where" I want to be also.

Anyway, if you read this, please keep us in your prayers that we will follow the path that God wants us to, and that we'll know which path that truly is also. Sometimes when you're wandering through the wilderness the path is not clear and the footing can be unsure, but if you let yourself be guided rather than trying to take over the expedition yourself, you eventually are led to where you're supposed to be.

Nothing To Say....

First of all, my son just turned 10 (waah!). We have this "tradition" of me giving him a hard time for growing up on me and the night before I always tell him he can't have a birthday (I do it with my daughter too---that one's coming up in just a couple of weeks) and stuff like that. This year it actually was bugging me that he's having another one because he's now into the "double digits", and it started really sinking in that he's really growing up on me now!!! The little brat wrote me a poem (out of being a smart aleck) and had it delivered via the "Little Sister Express". It said..."Ha ha ha, he he he, I'm no longer a multiple of three!" Little booger butt!!! (Yep, that actually was my nickname for him when he was a tiny little baby! heehee)

I've been finding myself frustrated because there's not much to "say" the last few days (on my blog and on the forums to which I belong), and I don't want to post for the sake of posting and ending up rambling (as I am doing here). So, this song came to mind, has nothing to do with me not posting, but I love it anyway. I'm speechless from feeling "blah", but I'd rather be speechless for the reasons in these lyrics. I'm praying I'll be in awe and speechless soon......

Hey, Jamie would you mind
Driving down this road awhile
Arizona's waiting on these eyes
Rich is on the radio
And I think we ought to take it slow
Arizona's caught me by surprise

Hey, Jamie, have you heard
'A picture paints a thousand words'
But the photographs don't tell it all
I see the eagle swim the canyon sea
Creation yawns in front of me
Oh Lord, I never felt so small

And I don't believe that I believed in You
as deeply as today
I reckon what I'm saying is
there's nothing more
nothing more to say

And the mountains sing
Your glory hallelujah
The canyons echo sweet amazing grace
My spirit sails
The mighty gales are bellowing Your name
And I've gotten nothing to say
No, I've got nothing to say

Hey, Jamie, do you see
I'm broken by this majesty
So much glory in so little time
So turn off the radio
Let's listen to the songs we know
All praise to Him who reigns on high

And I don't believe that I believed in You
as deeply as today
I reckon what I'm saying is
there's nothing more
nothing more to say

And the mountains sing
Your glory hallelujah
The canyons echo sweet amazing grace
My spirit sails
The mighty gales are bellowing Your name
And I've gotten nothing to say
No, I've got nothing to say

Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah hallelujah

And the mountains sing
Your glory hallelujah
The canyons echo sweet amazing grace
My spirit sails
The mighty gales are bellowing Your name
And I've gotten nothing to say
No, I've got nothing to say

Hey Jamie would you mind
Driving down this road awhile
Arizona's caught me by surprise
